Justin Vogt is a senior editor at Foreign Affairs. His work has been published by The New Yorker, Slate, The Atlantic, Newsweek, The National, and Tablet Magazine, among other outlets.
Before joining Foreign Affairs, he served as the managing editor of World Policy Journal. Earlier, he worked on the editorial staff of The New Yorker, and as an associate producer on documentary films for the PBS series Frontline. He also served as the business manager of Palace Records, an independent record label founded by the singer-songwriter Will Oldham.
He earned a bachelor's degree in comparative literature at Brown University, and holds a master's degree in international affairs from Columbia University, where he specialized in security policy.
